Cameron started training Jiu Jitsu at the age of 7 in Centennial, Colorado. He instantly fell in love with the sport and has been absolutely fascinated ever since. Cameron earned his blue belt at the age of 15 before being sidelined by a severe neck injury. This downtime turned out to be a blessing in disguise, though, because it helped Cameron discover his passion for teaching Jiu Jitsu. After receiving his purple belt, Cameron decided to make the pilgrimage to OCBJJ under the instruction of professor Tom Deblass in order to pursue his goal of becoming the best in the world. He has worked his way through the belt rankings, earning his black belt in January 2024. With Deblass’s coaching, he has won the Pan-American Games, American Nationals, ADCC Open, and earned silver and bronze medals in the IBJJF Worlds. OCBJJ is a tight-knit family and Cameron couldn’t be happier to be a part of the world-class instruction taking place at Ocean County Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
